JAN 28-29: Substitute Work and Intro to Imperialism

On Tuesday 28th and Wednesday 29th, January I was absent and there was a substitute. If you also missed, you will need to do the following to make up what you missed:

ALL CLASSES:
1) If you are an AP student please make sure your homework for last time is complete.

2) Please take out a blank piece of paper and title it Video Notes: Japan - Return of the Barbarians. Please take at least 25 notes on what you learn by watching the following video. You should watch at least 35 minutes of it.

JAN 22-23: Unit 5 Test Review

On Wednesday 22nd and Thursday 23rd, January we spent the day organizing the portfolio and reviewing for the test next time. If you were absent, you will need to do the following to make up what you missed:

ALL STUDENTS IN ALL CLASSES:
1) Make sure your portfolio checklist is updated and portfolio is organized in order. You will turn it in the day after the test.
2) Download the following study guide and review it thoroughly. There is a review crossword, but you would need to see me for that. It is completely possible to prepare for your test without the crossword, but you would have to diligently study your vocabulary.

JAN 14-15: The Second Industrial Revolution & Mass Society

JAN 8-9: Further Look at Capitalism - Smith and Marx

On Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th, January we took time to look more in depth at the ideas of Adam Smith and Karl Marx. If you were absent, please do the following to make up what you missed:

ALL STUDENTS - AP WORLD HISTORY & WORLD HISTORY 10:
1) We first grade our comparative essay from before the break on the American and French Revolutions. If you were not here, I need that essay by tomorrow (Friday 10th, January).

JAN 6-7: The Industrial Revolution

On Monday 6th and Tuesday 7th, January we began our look at the Industrial Revolution. If you were absent, you will need to do the following to make up what you missed:

ALL STUDENTS - AP WORLD HISTORY & WORLD HISTORY 10:
1) Remember you should have completed a comparative essay from before the break (if you need instructions, please check the post from DEC 17-18). We will be postponing grading until next time, please bring it with you.
