5) Shared ideas on how we answered that question.

Come see me for a textbook and the homework.

Thank you.

Welcome to World History for the 2019-2020 Year!

Hello my beloved students and their parents/guardians,

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to our class blog for the year and to let you know that I am looking forward to this year. We will be learning about world history and apply that knowledge to our own lives and situations in order to make the world a better place. This blog will be for both the AP World History and World History 10 classes. You will notice that in the right hand column of this blog that you may subscribe to this blog to receive automatic posts to your email, you can search this blog, and you will find important class dates. These quiz, test, and cutoff dates apply to both AP World History and the World History 10 classes. You will also notice that there will be important handouts for each class and those can be found in the right hand column as well (please be careful and make sure you have the right class).

I believe in high expectations for ALL students and therefore I follow a teaching format that is similar whether you are in AP World History or World History 10. Notable differences include the amount of reading (more for AP), number of outside readings/assignments (again higher in AP), and the expectation that all AP students take the end of year exam for college credit. However, students in the World History 10 classes are also able to take the end of year exam if they so choose and, it is my belief that if they have completed all that I have asked, they too would pass that exam.

Again, I want to state I am very excited for this upcoming year and am firmly dedicated to my students' success. Please come talk to me or email me if needed and do as I ask, in order to maximize the benefit of this experience.

Thank you and sincerely,
Mr. Ball
