SEP 26-27: Cultural and Environmental Consequences of Connectivity

On Thursday 26th and Friday 27th, September we spent the time going over our response to the trade simulation from last time and then began looking at the impacts of being connected. If you were absent, you will need to do the following to make up what you missed:

2) Please make sure you completed the response paper to the trade simulation game, if you were here for that.

SEP 19-20: Exchange in the Indian Ocean

On Thursday 19th and Friday 20th, September, we looked at the exchange that took place in the Indian Ocean during the time period up to 1450 CE. If you were absent, you will need to do the following to make up what you missed:

3) Watch the following video and take notes a blank piece of paper titled: Notes - Zheng He. You will also learn about a Portuguese mariner named Vasco da Gama. Take notes on both men.

SEP 11-12: Test Unit 1

On Wednesday 11th and Thursday 12th, September we took our test for unit 1. If you were absent, you will need to do the following to make up what you missed:

1) Schedule a time to come in to make up your test. You will need approximately 50 mins for AP and 40 mins for World History 10, so you will have to come in after school.

2) Turn in your portfolio for unit 1.
