Monday 18th and Tuesday 19th, May: (WH10) Progress Check #3 - Final Post & (AP) Exam Preparation - Final Post

On Monday 18th and Tuesday 19th, May I am going to ask World History 10 students to complete Progress Check #3 and the AP World History students to make last preparations for the exam. Please read all announcements and follow all instructions carefully:

AN ANNOUNCEMENT:

- This will be the last post of the year for both classes, please read all instructions VERY CAREFULLY as these posts contain information on how we are ending the year!

- If you have concerns or questions please email me and I will help you. Please don't wait if there is an issue; let me know ASAP!

WH10 Classes ONLY! (5th, 6th, 7th, & 8th periods) Please do the following to complete class for Tuesday 19th, May and the rest of theyear:

1) Please copy into your Google Drive or print the following assignment, complete it and turn it in by Thursday 21st, May. You will be turning in this progress check to me either by sharing a Google Doc or by sending a picture to me through email. You have two options to do that. When you click the link for the Quarter 4: Progress Check #3 and it opens, in the upper left hand there is a menu to either print or make a copy:
Option A - If you wish to have a physical copy, please print the document, fill it in and then send me a picture when completed.
Option B - If you prefer doing it electronically, click FILE in the menu bar and then click MAKE A COPY and that will allow you to make a copy in your Google Drive. Once you make your copy, you can edit your copy and fill it in. When completed, share it with me at troy.ball@jordandistrict.org

IMPORTANT: You are ONLY turning in Quarter 4 Progress Check #3. You do NOT need to turn in or share the other work with me.

Quarter 4: Progress Check #3

2) Once you have finished your Quarter 4: Progress Check #3 and shared it with me as a picture or Google Doc, you are finished. I will have grades completed by Friday 22nd, May. Please check your grade, as far as I am concerned that will be your FINAL GRADE! (See #4 below for more info)

3) Starting today (Monday 18th, May), you may return your textbook to the main office or media center; however, the school has reduced hours so please call the Main Office @ 801-567-8530 BEFORE going to the school to make sure someone will be there. If you do not return your book, you will be fined for it and it is expensive, so please bring it back!!!

4) If you are dissatisfied with your final grade, you have two options. First and best, the remainder of the year up to Friday 29th, May will be used for anyone who needs make up work, turn in late work, or anything else that affects your grade. There are no penalties, so do your work and get credit. Second, a parent/guardian may email me with a request to change your grade to a 'P' for pass. You will get credit for the class, but it will not affect your GPA. I will only do this with a parent/guardian request and those requests should be made by Friday 29th, May.

5) If you have questions or concerns, email me!

Thank you, the rest of this post is for AP.
