1. Carefully go through the following detailed rubric. Make sure you are familiar with the requirements and start committing them to memory as we will follow this rubric for the remaining review essays we write and it is the rubric they will use for your exam:
Detailed DBQ Rubric

2. Refamiliarize yourself with the prompt and the documents by reading through them. Remember, you should have already analyzed these (see last post for details):
Unit 5 DBQ Option A - Prompt and Documents
                  OR
Unit 5 DBQ Option B - Prompt and Documents

3. PLEASE READ! Use the following suggestions/guides to help you get started with Unit 5:
Suggestions to Help You for Unit 5
Guide to POV (Remember: POV is only one option you can do to explain documents. See rubric)

4. Write your DBQ as a Google Doc and share it with your partner (see link below if you need to). IMPORTANT: The minimum is two pages. Do not count the headings; in fact, you do not need headings.
Partners and Emails

5. As we did for Unit 4 Review Essay, once you receive your partner's essay, use the rubric to go through their essay, grading it and providing feedback. Return your grading and feedback to your partner. This process is for you as much as for your partner. PLEASE make sure you keep up and do this, your partner and I NEED you to do this!!!

6. As always, email if you need help or have questions.
