Monday 20th and Tuesday 21st, April: (WH10) South and Southeast Asia & (AP) Unit 2 Check and Unit 3 Review

On Monday 20th and Tuesday 21st, April I am going to ask World History 10 students to continue looking at nationalism and developments in India and Southeast Asia and the AP World History students will start turn in a check for Unit 2 and begin Unit 3 Review. Please read all announcements and follow all instructions carefully:

WH10 Classes ONLY! (5th, 6th, 7th, & 8th periods) Please do the following to complete class for Tuesday 21st, April:

- This is the last reading assignment before our Quarter 4 Progress Check #2. Please make sure you have everything in your portfolio completed from #9 to #12 (today's assignment). You will be completing Review Check #2 next time.

- On your portfolio checklist, please add the following:

- Print or copy into your Google Drive the following assignment and complete by next class.

AP Classes ONLY! (3rd & 4th) Please do the following to complete class for Monday 20th, April:

- Please complete the Unit 2 Review Check and share it with me in Google Docs (preferred method) or print it and share it with me as a picture. This should not take long if you follow the instructions carefully. Do NOT send me anything besides the check and your attached essay. This is due Wednesday 22nd, April!
Unit 2 Review Check

- For the first part of our Unit 3 Review, please do the following:
First, download the following notes and use the presentation to fill them in. The process of writing notes WILL help you remember. As always, you do NOT need to write everything, but enough to remember the main points.

Second, pay careful attention to the vocabulary (bolded terms) in the review. They are not the only ones, of course, but they cover major ideas and concepts. Develop a way to go through them and make sure you KNOW them and can explain them in detail.

Third, I am changing the requirements: YOU ARE REQUIRED to watch the overall review video for Unit 3. There are several other more detailed review videos that you should also use. You do not have to watch every single second and it is not necessary to take detailed notes on each one. However, they are an excellent source to recap main ideas from the unit. You should take time to go through them.
