For WH10 students, this is our last formal unit. After this unit we will do a small online end of year project. Please keep up and email me if you have concerns or questions.

- All classes, remember, please follow instructions carefully and check your grades. Please don't wait if there is an issue; let me know ASAP!

WH10 Classes ONLY! (5th, 6th, 7th, & 8th periods) Please do the following to complete class for Friday 1st, May:

- You should have your portfolio checklist. We are going to add the following to that list today:
16) May 1st     Reading 34.4 - Latin America since 1989

- Print or copy the following assignment into your Google Drive and use your text to complete:
Reading Guide 34.4  - Latin America since 1989

- Thank you. The rest of this post is for AP.

AP Classes ONLY! (3rd & 4th) Please do the following to complete class for Thursday 30th, April:

Please complete the Unit 3 Review Check from last post and share it with me in Google Docs or print it and share it with me as a picture. The first option is by far the easiest. This is due TODAY! I will be going through these, answering questions, and grading them tomorrow. Here is the link again: Unit 3 Review Check
IMPORTANT: If you are having issues with your partner, let me know so I can help solve your concerns. You will not be docked for something your partner should have done.

- Again, here is the rubric for the DBQs. If you prefer the official document, there is a link for the official rubric as well. Commit these requirements to memory:
Detailed DBQ Rubric (Written in my words)
College Board Issued Rubric
IMPORTANT: Although the actual test will have only 5 documents to analyze we will be analyzing ALL the documents as we would for a normal DBQ. This will give us more practice and that way the actual test is easier.

- Today we will prepare and analyze documents for Unit 4 so we can write another practice DBQ. You will have two options and you can choose which DBQ to write. You do not have to write both. Today we will focus on analyzing the documents for the DBQ you choose. Please follow the instructions carefully:

1. Familiarize yourself with the prompt and the documents for the DBQ you choose by reading through them. Remember, you are NOT writing the essay today:
Unit 4 DBQ Option A - Prompt and Documents
                  OR
Unit 4 DBQ Option B - Prompt and Documents
2. Using the following guide, analyze all of the documents using the SOAPS method. It is not necessary or even possible to get answers on every part of the SOAPS, but you should do as much as you can. You should actually write things down, you can use a physical piece of paper or make a Google Doc.

3. If you get stuck, have questions, or do not understand something research it or email me. I will help you!
4. Have your analysis ready for next time so we can write the essay. You do NOT have to begin actually writing until next time, but you can start today if you wish..

Thank you.
